Path to Africa, which was established in 2006, aims to give direct help to local small-scale organisations in Moshi town and to provide volunteers and donors with a way of accessing and helping local projects without going through a third body, thus ensuring all time and money donated goes directly to the projects intended.
Path to Africa (“PTA”) works alongside the local project directors to develop and sustain their projects in the short and long term. PTA currently is assisting with three projects:
Path to Africa Children's Centre;
Minjeni; and
Kilimanjaro Young Girls in Need ("KYGN")
Path to Africa is a small organisation, relying on the invaluable work carried out by our volunteers and the funds received by generous donors. Path to Africa donors and volunteers are able to select the project that best matches their interests.
Every cent donated goes towards our continued work in Moshi. Our aim is to assist and initiate projects that are locally based, to give the needed funding and assistance to these projects in the short term, and to assist these projects in become economically and organisationally self-sustainable in the long term.
