Climb to the Roof of Africa and raise money for the local community.
Path to Africa has teamed up with the climbing group, Ashante Tours, to create this wonderful experience and help us to raise much needed funds for our projects in Moshi.
We are asking 10 people to join us here in Moshi for each of or two 2 week trips, which will include:
A 6 day trek of Mount Kilimanjaro
Site visits to the project you will be supporting
A 2 day safari to Lake Manyara and Ngorogoro Crater.
This is a great opportunity to not only experience the adventure of a lifetime but to give directly to the local community. Each participant will be asked to contribute 2000 usd towards the cost of the trip and match this with fundraising of 2000 usd to be donated to the project which they are supporting. Every penny donated will go directly to the project and each participant will have the opportunity to visit the project, meet those that are benefiting from the project, and have a clear idea of exactly how their donation will contribute to its development.
There will be two separate start dates for the trip. The first, which is in aid of KYGN, will begin on 1st Feb 2010 while the second will begin on the 1st March 2010 with all proceeds going towards the construction of the new Corner Stone Children’s Centre currently being built by Path to Africa.
