Welcome/Karibu

Path to Africa (PTA) was established in 2007 and aims to give direct help to local small-scale organisations in Moshi town, northern Tanzania.

We aim to provide volunteers and donors with a way of accessing and helping local projects without going through a third body, thus ensuring all time and money donated goes directly to the projects intended.

Path To Africa works alongside the local project directors to develop and sustain their projects in the short and long term.  Currently PTA has committed most of its funds to Hope Village, a small orphanage which is home to eight young children. This is not your typical orphanage.  It is more of a loving family home.  Through our joint partnership, we aim to provide access to quality education and a safe living environment to these orphaned  and vulnerable children.

PTA is a small organisation, relying on the invaluable work carried out by our volunteers and the funds received by generous donors. Every cent donated goes towards our continued work in Moshi. Our aim is to assist and initiate projects that are locally based, to give the needed funding and assistance to these projects in the short term, and to assist these projects in becoming economically and organisationally self-sustainable in the long term.
